Peter Cowen is one of the true superstars among teaching pros. The PGA Master Professional lists Callaway Staff Pros Thomas Bjorn and Alexander Noren among his elite students. Cowen’s approach to coaching is based on the philosophy of simplifying the fundamentals of the golf swing and clearly focusing on the key areas of the game. His coaching has sparked major champions, top ranked players and loads of support from his clients. “Of all the golf coaches I’ve met in my life, I’ve not met anybody that’s got as much knowledge as he does,” says Bjorn.

Cowen joined Callaway in 2011 as an advisor/ambassador. “Pete is the hottest golf coach and has achieved remarkable success with his players, which is why our Tour team and everyone at Callaway is so excited that he has decided to move to our brand,” said Neil Howie, President of Callaway Golf Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Pete is renowned for his drive, attention to detail and his determination to optimise every player’s performance – characteristics consistent with our ethos.”

Cowen, who is coach to recent World Number One, plus two reigning major champions, and achieved a remarkable 1-2-3 ‘treble’ at the Open Championship at St Andrews in 2010, joins the likes of David Leadbetter and Dave Pelz on Callaway’s advisory staff.
