With the Open Championship just a day away, Callaway’s team of Staff Professionals have been honing both their game and their equipment in preparation for the challenges of Royal St George’s. Many have visited the Callaway Tour Truck in order to customise existing equipment or even take on new clubs to help cope with the testing conditions out on the links.

Below you can find out the standard composition of your favourite Callaway player’s bag, with notes on any specific amendments for this week.

Notes from the Tour Truck: Phil has got the X-Tour U/18 (18º) in play again this week. He can hit it about 260 yards off the tee.

Alvaro Quiros

Notes from the Tour Truck: No gear changes for Alvaro this week. He just has some new grips that are a little softer and a little more shock absorbent.

Notes from the Tour Truck: Danny has switched from a 10.5º RAZR Hawk to a more penetrating 9.5º Diablo Octane Tour Driver. He has also gone into the RAZR Muscleback irons and has an X-Tour U/21 driving iron in the bag too.

Notes from the Tour Truck: Alex has been trying a centre-shafted 2-Ball putter this week, but is still undecided as to which one he will put in the bag.

Notes from the Tour Truck: Thongchai has taken an inch off his putter and also tried some different weighting models (one 350g and one 360g) to work with to help with differently paced greens.
