Book and attend a Callaway Golf® Custom Fit session at a participating authorised location (“Authorised Location”), and if your driver beats* the recommended Callaway 2010 Driver,** you can win your choice of two dozen Callaway Golf Golf Balls or a Callaway Golf Winter Golf Bag.

* In Smash factor and Dispersion, as described below.
** A new 2010 Callaway Golf FT-iZ, FT Tour or Diablo Edge Driver

Eligible participants:

1. Open to residents of Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Nederland, Swiss, Austria, Czech Republic and Slovakia aged 18 years or over (“Eligible Participants”) excluding, employees and their immediate family members of Callaway Golf Europe, its parents, subsidiaries or affiliates, as well as anyone professionally connected with this promotion. Void where prohibited.
2. The promotion will take place for a limited time only from 23 July 2010 through 31 August 2010 (the “Promotion Period”).

 

How to Enter:
To enter, an Eligible Participant must complete all of the following steps during the Promotion Period:

1. The Eligible Participant must schedule a Callaway Golf Custom Fit session at any of the participating Authorised Locations by phone or directly in store.
2. On the day of the appointment the Eligible Participant must bring their personal, conforming driver (“Your Driver”) and hit 6 valid shots with it at the beginning of a club fitting session. Minimum club speed, face angle requirements, shaft length restrictions, club loft restrictions and other measurement criteria may apply (“Shot Criteria”). Determination as to whether shot is valid and meets the Shot Criteria shall be made by Promoter it its sole discretion. If shot is deemed invalid, the Eligible Participant shall be given additional shots until 6 valid shots have been hit. The average of Smash Factor (head speed vs. ball speed) and Dispersion (Radius) of the 6 shots will be used to benchmark Your Driver’s performance. Smash Factor and Dispersion will be measured using a flight scope fitting system approved and provided by Callaway Golf.
3. At the end of a fitting session of approximately 45 minutes, the club fitter will recommend a 2010 Callaway Golf FT-iZ, FT Tour or Diablo Edge Driver based on the results of the fitting session (the “Recommended Callaway Driver”).
4. Using the Recommended Callaway Driver, the Eligible Participant will then hit 6 valid shots meeting the Shot Criteria. Determination as to whether shot is valid and meets the Shot Criteria shall be made by Promoter it its sole discretion. If shot is deemed invalid, the Eligible Participant shall be given additional shots until 6 valid shots have been hit. The average of the Smash Factor (head speed vs. ball speed) and Dispersion (Radius) will be used to benchmark the Recommended Callaway Driver’s performance.
5. Data results of both drivers will be compared.

The Prize:

If, after meeting the Shot Criteria and successfully completing the eligibility steps described above, Your Driver performs better, on average, than the Recommended Callaway Driver in both Smash Factor and Dispersion, the Eligible Consumer shall be entitled to claim a choice of two dozen Callaway Golf Golf Balls or a Callaway Golf Winter Golf Bag. No purchase is necesary. The promoter’s decision as to the award of prizes is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Other Terms and Conditions:

Prizes can not be exchanged for cash nor sold or transferred for value.
Any persons taking part in this promotion accept these terms and conditions.

You will also be given the option to “unsubscribe” to our email lists.  Affiliated companies and third parties may be in the European Union or in other parts of the world, including but not limited to the United States, where data protection laws may not be comparable.

Promoter assumes no responsibility for computer system, hardware, software, or program malfunctions or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or faulty network connections, whether human or technical in nature. If, in Promoter’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of this promotion, or if technical difficulties compromise any portion of the promotion or the integrity of the promotion, Promoter reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate the promotion at any time.

Except in those countries where such requirement is invalid, winners may be required to take part in any publicity associated with the promotion, and Eligible Participant agrees to permit Callaway Golf Europe to use their name as it sees fit. Winners may be required to execute additional documentation to receive their prize.
